About Saraén
Founded in Paris in 2024, Saraén is a maison devoted to the art of leather, where form and matter are transfigured into living sculpture. Azer Céline Bayindir graduated from L’Institut Français de la Mode before honing her craft at Louis Vuitton, Chloé, and Lanvin. Across fifteen years spent between Paris and Istanbul, she moved through every register of the design process, from designer to executive to consultant, gathering a technical range matched by artistic depth. She founded Saraén to give that range a singular home. Her years within Paris’s grandes maisons instilled a reverence for craft, construction, and noble materials. That classical training is sharpened by her eye as a researcher of form, forever testing the space between function and poetry, matter and idea. Her Turkish heritage roots this sensibility further still, carrying the historical, political, and aesthetic weight of her own lived experience. Saraén stands at the meeting point of memory and modernity, sensibility and structure. Rooted in femininity but never confined to it, the house works in sensual lines and organic forms to build a Parisian poetics of elegance. Each piece reaches past the idea of accessory toward something closer to a tactile meditation on beauty, movement, and time. Every object begins as a dialogue between two cities: shaped first in the Paris studio, then given final form by the artisans of Istanbul, Bayindir’s birthplace. Two savoir-faire traditions meet in a single language of craft.
