Pashion Footwear makes convertible shoes with removable, customizable shanks and heels, a patented technology that lets women switch from heel to flat in seconds, without switching shoes. The idea was born from a literal pain point: founder and CEO Haley Pavone was dancing barefoot at an event, having ditched her painful heels, when another woman’s stiletto struck her foot, and struck her with a thought: there should be a way to not be stuck in heels all night, but to also not end up barefoot.
